Idealistics Inc. is a Southern California based technology consulting company for non-profit and government social service agencies. Our mission is to build custom information systems that communities need to resolve crises. We bring the best of web 2.0 technologies and sophisticated social scientific data analysis practices to the agencies we team with to deliver the best possible social outcomes for those most in need.

Idealistics is a social enterprise, which means we have a double bottom line of producing profits and social good. It is our belief that the more our technologies resolve community crises, the better our company will do financially. In that way, the double bottom line represents a perfect intersection of business and non-profit motives.

We do not believe our technologies are a cure all nor is it our belief that businesses are better able to resolve community crises than non-profits and governments. Rather, we see ourselves as a partner in a larger social service network that collectively strengthens people, families, and communities.

Technology provides tremendous opportunity for the social service industry and can be a powerful tool for improving communities. It is our objective to consistently innovate and produce high quality, custom technologies that empower agencies to help people better.

Our company is founded on the following two premises that guide our social mission and technological innovation:

• Informational asymmetries, be they service seekers not knowing what services are available or agencies not having suffient tools to measure client outcomes, are rampent
• Social services need custom databases tailored not just to the industry, but to each particular organization
